Swiss Metallers, ALL LIFE ENDS, have come along and dropped their debut album "The Plague Of Man". The four-piece having released two EP's over the last ten years; they have finally compounded their experience and knowledge to produce a full studio album off of their own backs and push it out into the Heavy Metal community. The artwork is mesmerising, its intriguing and the longer I look at it I start seeing something new, it's very well done and put together.

Opening the album is "The Disease Concept" not really messing around or waiting to get stuck in. The intense instrumental tracking is well mixed, the vocals compliment the music, really rounding the whole performance off. "Curse" continues the intense and aggressive stylings established so far. The guitar tracking really punches, accented by the hard hitting and enthusiastic drum line. My only criticism would be a slight over powering drum tracking, at times it can be a little bit difficult to make out the instrumentals in behind both the vocals and drums, but I am unsure as to whether this is an intentional and desired effect.

"The Plague", I often wonder how a soundtrack for a disease that could bring the world to it's knees would sound. Whilst 2020 would suggest a bit of a lethargic overture accompanied with lots of minor, incoherent and slightly inconvenient misplaced music... "The Plague" offers more of a high octane offering, in fact had the plague of our time fitted with this track, I am sure many of us would have been slightly more concerned. Just continuing on this trail of thought I want to hone in on "How The End Begins". In my short time on this earth so far, there have been many predicted apocalypses... Y2K, the Mayan 2012 prediction and various illnesses... "How The End Begins" is a very high energy and intense track, that instantly makes me think more to ends associated with war or the collapse of socialisation through violent means. Let me know what you think! "Bloodred Days Remain" is another fantastic example of Death Metal. The hard hitting vocals polishing off an instrumental display that really left me wanting more. The subtleties of the guitar tracking really is the icing on top of this great track.

Overall, I really enjoyed this album, it has some fantastic stand alone tracks that I will be sure to be adding to my playlists. But a lot of the tracking started to sound a bit... samey... for lack of a better term. But as said they are great stand alone tracks. Fans of Death Metal be sure to check out ALL LIFE ENDS.
