Never Enough Snuff (Reissue)
Abramelin

Death Metal Schools throughout the world have different features. Australian Death Metal is brutal and oppressive in a way that's hard to see, but always using a very good technical approach and even subjective melodies to temper the natural bitterness of the genre. And that's what the listeners will find on this reissue of "Never Enough Snuff", the 2020 album of the quintet ABRAMELIN. Be prepared, because the way they work is really nasty and brutal, a traditional form of Death Metal increased by touches of modern Brutal Death Metal influences, creating a massive energy flowing from the harsh and destructive music. It's brutal and oppressive, but a deeper analysis shows some refinements happening on the musical arrangements, because everything on the music has a reason for being done in such way. Be prepared, because this album is really nasty!
The production worked to mix the modern sonority of digital techs with the brutal energy and classic features of Death Metal. And everything worked in a very good way, keeping things harsh and crude, but in a way that is defined and that can be understood by everyone without efforts. Musically, this is an artifact of massive destruction, because all the ten songs are really a perfect dish for Death Metal addicted fans. But for a first spin, the massive brutality of "Never Enough Snuff", "Knife-Play" and "Full Gore Whore" (the three being fed by very good rhythmic changes from bass guitar and drums), the abrasive slow approach used on "Moon Dogs" (that shows excellent grunts and guitar solos) and on "Horror-zontal" (this one has an amazing energy coming from the guitar riffs), and the Death Metal battering ram song called "A Head Fuck" are the right ones.
ABRAMELIN is really a master of Death Metal, so enjoy this reissue of "Never Enough Snuff". You won't regret the experience!
