Hypocrisy, Refuse at Teatro Odisseia (2014)

Hypocrisy, Refuse
But before the show starts, there were a Meet and Greet party, with HYPOCRISY's members autographing CDs and taking pictures with the fans, and the one who was enjoying it a lot was the bassist Mikael Hedlund, a great guy indeed. The band seemed a little tired (they played a show just on the day 04/21, on São Paulo, just one day after), but were very gentle.
Yes, they play a very violent and extreme form of Death Metal, inspired by bands like KRISIUN and ANGEL CORPSE, but with a good technique. The sound isn't as good as could be, but for those who pay attention, they are very good in songs, like "Infamy of the First World", "Hegemonia" and "Clash of Worlds", and for sure we could see a good band.
Daniel Benítez (vocals and guitars) has tons of energy on the stage, as well as he communicates well with the public, and Fernando Torres (guitars) plays violently and with high precision and good vibe on stage. Jaime Veron is a savage on stage, playing his bass guitar fast and thunderous, and he does not stop to bang his head, and Dogi is a precise drummer, playing heavy and fast. Their set was short, but violent, and Big Daddy here can say that they gathered more fans that night.

What does Ol' Big Dady here can say about the show?
It was wonderful to see the band playing alive, as perfect as you can hear on the albums, but they got a very heavy load of energy, and unleash it on the public. And for diehard fans from old times, they played a violent and intense medley of "Pleasure of Molestation", "Osculum Obscenum" and "Penetralia". And the slamdancing pit became immense on these songs, but they played as well more songs as "44 Double Zero" from the new album and "War-Path" from "Virus" album. And as they played "The Final Chapter", it seemed the show to be over, but the audience stayed calling for them. And they got back for an encore with the classic "Roswell 47", "Adjusting the Sun", and ended with "Eraser".
