BLOODSTOCK is proud to once again team up with HOBGOBLIN, the brewers of their favourite ale and announce the HOBGOBLIN Newblood Stage plans and a raft of options for you to get your band, or your favourite unsigned band to BLOODSTOCK in 2015!
Team BLOODSTOCK will be looking at unsigned and self-released acts from both the UK and abroad via The Metal 2 The Masses programme, video uploads, or good old fashioned CD submissions. Check out the options below.
HOBGOBLIN WORLDWIDE VIDEO UPLOAD
Hobgoblin will be opening up the search worldwide via https://www.wychwood.co.uk/, inviting acts to submit their videos online from mid-January 2015. Fans can vote for their favourite act, with the winner bagging the coveted slot on the Newblood stage. In exchange for their vote, participants also have a chance to take home a whole host of music-related prizes via an 'instant win' competition.
METAL 2 THE MASSES TOUR
Bands can apply directly to local promoters who are running showcase events up and down the UK. These events might also win you a further slot on the Sophie Stage 2016, along with slots on the bill at Wacken (Germany) or Metaldays (Slovenia) and a raft of other additional prizes! This scheme is focused on UK acts and details on all the local events can be found at https://bloodstock.uk.com/events/boa-2015/masses_venues/intro. Please note more promoters/venues will be coming on board all the time so keep checking the website for the most up to date details.
