England's foremost progressive metal band THRESHOLD are set to release their double live album European Journey in North America on November 20 via Metalville Records/Nuclear Blast.

The 15-track, 2-CD set was recorded at various venues across Europe during the groups tour in support of their most recent studio album, 2014's For The Journey, last November.

"I think European Journey does a wonderful job of capturing the power and atmosphere of a Threshold show. It just makes me want to get out there and do it again," says keyboardist Richard West.

The band recently issued a video for the track "Watchtower On The Moon", which was filmed across multiple dates on the tour. West adds, "'Watchtower On The Moon' is one of our favorites from the last studio album ' it's full of energy and great to play live."

"Threshold continue to enjoy fantastic support from our loyal fans. The band have always enjoyed mixing with the people who listen to our music and this tour was no exception," added guitarist Karl Groom.

More on THRESHOLD:

Formed in the late 1980s, Threshold combined their influences of heavy metal and progressive rock to craft their own unique sound, which was a far cry from the commercial sound of the time. "Wounded Land" was released on GEP Records in 1993, and was hailed as the best debut album of the year. The following few years saw three more album releases "Psychedelicatessen", "Extinct Instinct", and "Clone", and tours with bands such as Dream Theater, Enchant, Psychotic Waltz and Pain Of Salvation. In 2014, Threshold released their tenth studio album For The Journey.
