The renowned Italian artist has already created the cover paintings for INQUISITION's latest full-length 'Obscure Verses For The Multiverse' (2013) as well as the massive concept displayed on the same band's complete collection of re-issues. THE LION'S DAUGHTER come storming out of the gates with their new album 'Existence is Horror'. The American trio from St. Louis, Missouri unleashes a crushing assault of dense frying riffs, pummeling rhythms, pumping bass-lines, and throat-shredding vocals supported by a seething intensity that borders on frightful. THE LION'S DAUGHTER were formed in 2007 by guitarist and vocalist Rick Giordano, drummer Erik Ramsier, and bassist Scott Fogelbach. The band was originally conceived out of hatred for the insincere and uninspired fodder choking the mainstream metal scene. They take notes from a myriad of metal's extremes, but live by no musical limitations and are driven to please no audience but themselves. THE LION'S DAUGHTER do not simply play as if they want to see this world end, but their sound rather implies that they want to be the ones to destroying it.
Since their inception, THE LION'S DAUGHTER have built a reputation as a formidable live force, sharing the stage with HIGH ON FIRE, PIG DESTROYER, EYEHATEGOD, TORCHE, MISERY INDEX, NACHTMYSTIUM, DARK FUNERAL, and more. True to their underground ethic, the band toured around the United States on the backs of several independent releases.
