Taipan has just released "1 In 6," the third music video off their debut album, "Straight From The Underground." The album has won acclaim from several metal websites, including Metalholic.com as a top 10 album of 2015, and is available through all major outlets worldwide on Fono Records and Dead Sea Records. The album has also been nominated by Metal Messiah Radio for album of the year.
Taipan stormed the International metal community with the "Straight From The Underground" album, released on August 31st, 2015. The band's video "White Fog Of Bhopal" has gained over 36,000 views and has touched the world with its sobering content. The animated documentary/music video is a haunting recount of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy in India, 1984.
The new video, "1 In 6" is produced and directed by Dead Sea Records. The song is produced by Logan Mader and features Alexander Strelnikov from Imperial Age (Russia) on leads. The video combines live performance shot at the world-famous Dollhut in Anaheim, with a frantic story of Russian Roulette that is based on true events. The "Straight From the Underground" album includes appearances by Aaron Rossi, Chris Poland, Tony Campos, Alexander Strelnikov and more.
Taipan is now in the company of such heavy-hitters as The Black Dahila Murder, Battlecross, Bolt Thrower, White Chapel and nearly two hundred other amazing bands on the world-wide distribution label, Fono Records. Taipan can be seen in the United States and internationally in 2016 at such events as Wacken Caribbean and the India Open Air Festival in July with Soilwork and Vader.
Their next album is already being written and will again feature big stars of the metal scene like Marc Rizzo, guitarist for Soulfly and Tony Dolan, bassist for Venom. Michael Black, frontman and co-founder of Taipan has already begun the process of chosing more guests for the next album, including members of Exodus, Crowbar, Fear Factory, Others and more.
