After a very successful release in Brazil, being pointed as one of the best albums of the year by the majority of the Metal press, the prestige of being a nominee on Independent Music Awards, contest judged by Ozzy Osbourne, Keith Richards and many other important musicians and industry members, and charting at position #9 on CMJ's Loud Rock charts, remaining in the top 15 for 6 weeks, the new Shadowside album "Inner Monster Out" entered the top 50 best selling albums in Japan on the last few months, hitting the #26 position followed by names like Nightwish, Evanescence, Lamb of God and Shinedown.
The charts were published on the latest issue of BURRN! magazine from Japan. An interview with Shadowside's lead singer Dani Nolden was published on May's edition of the magazine. The band's third album was released on March 14th by Spiritual Beast/Universal Music in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and China. At this very moment, Shadowside are fully concentrated on the tour in support of "Inner Monster Out", album that was produced, mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Hammerfall, Evergrey) in Gothenburg, Sweden. Title track features special guest appearances of singers Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Björn "Speed" Strid (Soilwork) and Niklas Isfeldt (Dream Evil).
The run started with a sold out show in their hometown Santos, followed by a concert for over 5000 people in Araraquara, first ever performances in Belo Horizonte and Bauru, and a highly praised performance in São Paulo.
