RESURRECTURIS: Signs with Danish label Mighty Music and releases lyric video of new album song
June 13, 2015
Here's the story: Resurrecturis' Carlo Strappa just returned from a trip to Copenhagen where he visited Mighty Music/Target offices and took final agreements for the release of the fourth album of Italian extreme metallers, to be titled "Nazienda".The album will be released on September 25th.
"Life is full of surprises: the first time I spoke with Michael Andersen of Mighty Music he mentioned that he reviewed one of our old demo tapes on his Emanzipation Zine almost 20 years ago!! Who would have said then that we would end up working on a project together so long after? I know all too well what kind of passion you have to have to keep the flame alive for 25/30 years, so I'm really looking forward to see what this union will lead to!" (Carlo Strappa / Resurrecturis)
The lyric video of "Two Half Lives Don't Make One" includes the paintings of Daniele Cudini, renamed Italian painter who is a longtime friend and collaborator of Resurrecturis (he did the front cover of the band's second CD, "The Cuckoo Clocks Of Hell", back in 2005).
Resurrecturis began in Italy in 1990 and has been around in some form ever since.
During the course of its history the band has released 3 full-length albums, plus demos, mcd's, ep's and has toured/played with the likes of Master, Impaled Nazarene, Vital Remains, Dismember, Macabre, etc.
On September 25 2015 Resurrecturis will release their 4th album, "Nazienda" on Danish label Mighty Music.
