Bay Area heavy rock standard bearersRipple Musicannounce the signing of high octane rock 'n rollersPIECES OF MOLLY. Following a handful of EPs and full-length releases over the last 10 years along with several tours and high-profile support gigs throughout their native New Zealand, the band will drop their anticipated new record this fall.

Label CEOTodd Severinsays, "First time I heardPieces of MollyI was blown away! It was just what I needed to hear, the perfect combination of crushingly heavy, sharp riffs and masterful melodies and songwriting. Simply put, catchy as hell. Thrilled to bring this band to the attention of the world"

Pieces of Mollycame to life after a chance meeting between founding membersEwen Glasgow(lead guitar/vocals) andDoug Stewart(bass) in 2011. They quickly recognized the same love of the riff, particularly of the Sabbath nature, and began jamming the bones of what would become the band's first EP. Eventually they were joined bySam Kubiak(guitar) andKurt Fleming(drums), solidifying the line-up.

Cranking out a grip of records throughout their first half-dozen years,Pieces of Mollywould support international acts like Radio Moscow, Yawning Man, 1000mods and Wo Fat along with New Zealand's rock royalty The Datsuns, Head Like A Hole and Beastwars. The group also completed several Australian and NZ tours and performed festival slots at Wo Fest and Mojo Burning.

Their latest single "Spirit Man" featured on the two biggest Rock stations in New Zealand (Radio Hauraki and The Rock).

Preparing for their new album (and first on US labelRipple Music),Pieces of Mollywill be touring again with prominent international acts like American stoner-fuzz legends Nebula and Swedish rockers Thundermother.

Pieces of Mollyhave cemented themselves as riff hypnotists of the highest order, mesmerizing audiences with fuzz-laden riffs wherever they play. Of the signing,Glasgowsays: "We are so stoked to be a part of the Ripple family. A killer label full of killer bands run by absolute legends."
