Legendary heavy metal singerOzzy Osbournehas been forced to cancel Saturday evening's (June 25) performance atGraspop Metal Meetingin Dessel, Belgium. According to an official statement posted atOsbourne's web site, "Ozzyhas severe laryngitis and his doctor has ordered an immediate 72 hours vocal rest before further evaluation."
CommentedOzzy: "I was so looking forward to performing at the legendaryGraspop Metal Meeting. It really pains me to let people down and it is with great disappointment that I am unable to perform for the great fans of Belgium."
The reissues ofOZZY OSBOURNE's classic first two solo albums, 1980's"Blizzard Of Ozz"and 1981's"Diary Of A Madman", sold around 6,000 copies each in the United States in their first week of release, according toNielsen SoundScan. They arrived on May 31 in definitive editions that restore and remaster the original recordings. Both were made available separately or as part of a deluxe box set that features both albums on CD and vinyl, a 100-page coffee table book, a documentary on DVD and a "full-size detailed replica ofOzzy's iconic cross."
