OVERKILL: New York Thrash Metal giants to perform in Israel for the first time in June

Progstage Productions just announced of the arrival of one of the giants of American Thrash Metal, the veteran OVERKILL, hailing from New York. OVERKILL will be performing in Israel for the first time in their career in Tel Aviv at the Reading 3 Club, this coming 8.6.2015.
Progstage commented: "We proudly announce the coming of one of the world's biggest Thrash Metal bands to Israel, the mighty OVERKILL. The Americans will be performing in 8.6.2015, at the Reading 3 Club in Tel Aviv. The band is one of the most important figures in Metal and in Thrash Metal in particular, standing strong alongside others such as EXODUS and TESTAMENT, and is still ongoing with producing iconic Thrash studio albums.
The veteran band, formed back in 1980 in New Jersey, released 17 albums to date, among them critically acclaimed classics such as "The Years Of Decay" (1989) and "Horrorscope" (1991). The band's recent album of 2014, "White Devil Armoy", via Nuclear Blast Records, is deemed to be one of the band's most successful of albums in the past decade.
Throughout its massive set of songs, the band will be performing some of its known titles such as "Elimination", "Hello From The Gutter" and "In Union We Stand".
Supporting the local Israeli scene has been one of our chief goals, therefore, as support for OVERKILL, three Israeli bands shall take the stage: HAMMERCULT, the Thrash / Death Metal heroes that already sliced the European domains and supporting their latest album "Steelcrusher". SWITCHBLADE, the Northern Heavy Metal band strongly showcasing their "Heavy Weapons" debut while also revealing a few surprises from their upcoming second album. STRIDENT, the Thrash Metal maniacs from the South shall embrace the moshpit with old school prowess, supporting their debut "On The Aim". All three bands are excellent and more than worthy for the occasion."
The first 100 tickets for the OVERKILL show shall be sold for a reduced price of 209 NIS. Afterwards, the tickets prices shall rise up to 239 NIS and be sold till sold out.
