Valentine's Day. It's the perfect day to get your heart pounding for Canada's One Soul Thrust.
The rock band releases their anticipated sophomore album, Know One Knows, to the world on Tuesday February 14.
The rock press is already talking. And the buzz is good. Very good. According to respected UK rock journalist Neville Brooks of Uber Rock Magazine, "So does this new LP stand up to the hype and expectation? Ohhh yeah!!! The band appears to have grown up, productions sharper and everyone seems more confident and again, standing out is the voice. In every decade there's a classic female vocalist, think Janis Joplin, think Ann Wilson- the voice that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up!!!"
One Soul Thrust producer Alessandro Del Vecchio (Steve Lukather, Glenn Hughes, James LaBrie, etc) loves what the band brings to the table. "This new album from One Soul Thrust surely means a lot to me. Musically speaking it's a big step ahead for the Canadian rockers. It's groovier, bluesier and more rocking than the debut. It's a labor of love, a witness of art and passion, and a little gem in a musical genre that will rock forever. If you're looking forward to Led Zeppelin-like thundering drums and bass, slap-in-your-face Marshall guitar tones and Heart-like vocal virtuosity, One Soul Thrust is the way to go. Support the future of Rock music!Buy and love this album, you won't be disappointed!"
The album's debut single, We Gotta Change, was offered as a free download for fans around the world from December 14th through 26th. It was shipped to radio around the world on New Year's Day and is currently receiving airplay in The Netherlands, Australia, Norway, Canada, United Kingdom, France, United States and Belgium. The video is available for viewing through the band's website or at www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKNUSGr9FrU
Know One Knows is available for digital download at iTunes, Amazon and other digital retailers. A sleek hard copy version of the album is available through CD Baby, where the deluxe full graphic version (available only in hard copy) will also be available later this month.
