In 2010 raised on the legs by drummer Jonas and bassist/singer Jan in gray Cologne Industrial dump Wesseling, Mortal Peril quickly found their own Thrash Metal style: raw, edgy, dynamic, carefree, brave and full on the bell. And said features have not changed in the least.
Dirty garnished is the technically emphasized, multifaceted output until today with snotty Punk sprinklings. An energetically moving and martial mixture, which has it simply damn in itself. The line-up has been specifically reinforced in addition, first live gigs were played. There was no turning back. Forward but it was intended in large increments.
Two years later Mortal Peril popped out their bone-breaking EP "Of Black Days And Cruel Alliances" in small numbers and with big enthusiasm. And the proverbial round thing came really good.
Positive reviews were earned not only from Germany but also in Italy, France and South America heads were shaken with joy to the dewy songs. The signs pointed to storm!
With a modified cast and accordingly well attuned was added the debut album "Walking On Hellish Trails" in self-financed manner to their own. Officially published was the substantial disk in cold February 2015, but it could warm up many Thrash hearts just fine.
And as the extremely ambitious line-up already showed on "Walking On Hellish Trails" a remarkably striking development, Mortal Peril accomplished for the new, second album "The Legacy Of War" again a fruitful conversion towards professionalism and sovereignty.
Rampant galloping and completely coming to the point tracks as the infectious rhythmic precision neck-breaker "Seed Of Hate" illustrate the successful efforts of the parties to constant refinement and optimization of their music.
The classic NWOBHM melodies still ride stormy and frenetically through the tight lashing Thrash Metal sound of the roundabout genuine quartet, which makes the discovery of nine new hard numbers anew very exciting.
Official release date of the new cannonball "The Legacy Of War" is May 21st 2016. Mortal Peril will celebrate this Thrash relevant occasion with a hefty release show on the same day on the Bergisch Metal Festival in Germany accordingly duly loud, wild and crazy!
