It's not that every day comes to Israel one of the greatest guitar shredders worldwide, a name that has been an impact in the trade of shredding in Metal, an amazing instructor in the art of guitar playing, want to guess? No, it is not Yngwie Malmsteen, he is American. This is Michael Angelo Batio, aka MAB.
There is no need for too much introduction right after watching this guy's double axe playing. Michael Angelo Batio presents a career that spans over three decades, carrier of ripping guitar strings with a lightning pick speed and burning guitar frets with the heat of sweltering fingers.
Michael Angelo Batio will be performing in Israel on 10th January 2015, at the Barby Club in Tel Aviv for the first time ever.
No doubt that Batio is one of the best Shred Guitar players of all time, and according to quite a few magazines in the world ' probably the best that ever was. Although starting as an anonymous guitarist for several Hard N' Heavy bands since the early eighties, he slowly paved his path as a unparalleled virtuous. Apart from his incredible speed as a musician, he is also the first guitarist to have a Shred tape for study that art of shredding, one of the videos from that type won nearly 20 million views on YouTube.
