Megadeth's North American headlining tour will be announced sometime next week, the band's mainman,Dave Mustaine, revealed earlier today (Saturday, December 5) while chatting with fans viaPeriscope, a live video streaming platform owned byTwitter.
The trek, which will tentatively launch in February, is rumored to also includeSuicidal Tendencies, Children Of BodomandHavok. The four-band package will markMegadeth's first North American run of dates in support of its new album,"Dystopia", which is scheduled for release in January.

Denver, Colorado thrashersHavok, who last year signed withCentury Media, are managed byJustis Mustaine, the 23-year-old son ofMegadethmainmanDave Mustaine.

Mustainelast month stated aboutMegadeth's touring plans: " [I am]really excited about coming back to the States and doing our North American tour there. The dates are coming along pretty well. And we've got three bands we're gonna be taking out with us there. Not completely sure about confirming all of them, but if they do confirm, the guys that I'm thinking about - no, it's notLamb Of God for North America - if those guys are on it, I think it's gonna be a cool, cool lineup."

Rumors of aLamb Of God andMegadeth joint North American tour were sparked by a recent interview withLamb Of God drummerChris Adler, who played on"Dystopia"and is sitting behind the kit forMegadethfor their appearance at this weekend'sKnotfestin Mexico.

Due to hisLamb Of Godschedule,Adlerwas unable to play withMegadethin China and Japan in October and was temporarily replaced byTony Laureano(ex-Dimmu Borgir,Nile,Angelcorpse), a veteran extreme-metal skinsman who has worked asMegadeth's drum tech since 2011.

Adlermade his live debut withMegadethin July at theFestival D'été De Québec(also known as by its acronymFEQ, orQuebec City Summer Festivalin English), in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

The follow-up to 2013's"Super Collider","Dystopia"was recorded earlier in the year in Nashville, Tennessee and was mixed byJosh Wilbur, who has previously worked withLamb Of God,All That Remains, andGojira.
