Recently, Irish metal legion, PRIMORDIAL, unveiled the official new music video for "Babel's Tower." The epic tune comes by way of the band's imminent new full-length,Where Greater Men Have Fallen, and serves as the first ever professionally filmed and edited video of their storied history

Where Greater Men Have Fallenserves as the follow-up to PRIMORDIAL's globally-revered, 2011-releasedRedemption At The Puritan's Handlong player and their eighth studio offering overall. Dubbed, "almost Maiden-esque in its majesty," by Stereogum, the eight track, fifty-eight minute magnum opus was recorded at Grouse Lodge in Dublin with Jaime Gomez (Cathedral, Angelwitch, Grave Miasma) and delivers some of PRIMORDIAL's deepest, most meticulously composed, thematically profound and plainly absorbing compositions of their winding catalog of sonic enormity. Rolling Stone gushes in a recent review, "Alan Averill is a vocal powerhouse, soaring atop melodic black/folk metal compositions that channel doom and gloom as well as triumph. 'Ghosts Of The Charnel House' embodies heavy metal grandeur, while title track 'Where Greater Men Have Fallen' is an epic lament, its mournful, repetitive melodies rooted in Irish folk. When Averill howls, 'The heart of your motherland will be ripped from her chest,' a million ghosts cry out with him.'" Empty Lighthouse Magazine notes, "The title track builds and builds until vocalist Alan Averill lets out a commanding wail and the riffs crash onto the listener like waves. Guitarists Ciaran MacUiliam and Michael O'Floinn have a way of making a full-bodied 'epic' sound through subtle tonal shifts and chord voicings, culminating in a feel that most bands spend dozens of Pro Tools tracks and computer effects trying to achieve," while Decibel Magazine adds, in an 8/10 rating, "Greater men have fallen, but PRIMORDIAL rise."

WOVENWAR BIO
Our choices define us. At heart, we choose between good and evil or right and wrong. It's not predisposed, but rather something we learn through experience, life's twists and turns, and the stops along the way. The very moniker WOVENWAR speaks to that truth. In the spring of 2013, the members of As I Lay Dying - Nick Hipa, Phil Sgrosso [guitar], Josh Gilbert [bass, vocals], Jordan Mancino [drums] - made an important choice of their own to carry on with their careers forming this amazing, new band with Shane Blay (Oh, Sleeper) on vocals.

They had seen tremendous success, selling over one million albums, enjoying a Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top 200 with 2010's The Powerless Rise and a Top 15 debut with 2012's Awakened, and touring globally alongside the likes of Slipknot, Slayer, Suicide Silence, Killswitch Engage, and more.

WOVENWAR's self-titled debut was released in August of 2014 and landed at #36 on the Billboard Top 200 charts. On iTunes, the album peaked at #2 on the rock charts, and #1 on the metal charts during its week of release. Revolver Magazine heralded the album as "more multifaceted than anything by As I Lay Dying," and Decibel Magazine added that "WOVENWAR sounds confident, vital, and even liberated on this splendid debut."

Metal Blade Records is proud to announce the signing of Swedish epic doom metal legends,SORCERER! SORCERER will release their Metal Blade debut "In The Shadow Of The Inverted Cross" March, 20th on CD, vinyl, and digitally. Pre-orders for the album are available now, along with the brand new video for "The Dark Tower Of The Sorcerer." Visit metalblade.com/sorcererto watch and order your copy now.

The band comments: "Sorcerer are proud to have signed with the legendary metal label Metal Blade, home of many bands that has inspired us to start making music. With the new album "In the Shadow of the Inverted Cross" we hope to continue where we ended many years ago. It is all the fans that have supported us through the years that has inspired us to do this album and we really looking forward to meet you all on gigs and festivals soon!"

SORCERER was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1988 but disbanded after two demos in 1992. Both demos are considered true Doom Metal classics and have been released on CD in 1995. In 2010 the band came back together to play the Hammer of Doom festival in Germany and a year later the Up The Hammers festival in Athens, Greece. Both shows were received extremely well and the thoughts of putting together a new album started to take form. In the end it took over two years to write, arrange and record it but the result is nothing but pure, heavy epic doom metal. The process of putting all bits and pieces together and making it ready for mix and mastering was the work of drummer Robert Iversen, also a very fine recording engineer, who was acting as the spider in the recording web. The album was mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Devin Townsend).

With years of professional experience and top-class instrumental abilities among its band members the SORCERER of the 21st century is determined to deliver epic doom metal for many years to come; on record and on stages all around the world! "In The Shadow Of The Inverted Cross" is set to be released March, 20th via Metal Blade Records Europe, and March 24th in North America.

Track listing:
1. The Dark Tower of the Sorcerer
2. Sumerian Script
3. Lake of the Lost Souls
4. Excorcise the Demon
5. In the Shadow of the Inverted Cross
6. Prayers for a King
7. The Gates of Hell
8. Pagans Dance

SORCERER is:
Anders Engberg - vocals
Kristian Niemann - guitars
Peter Hallgren - guitars
Johnny Hagel - bass
Robert Iversen - drums

VISIGOTH "The Revenant King" Out now on Metal Blade Records

New Video Streaming

"VISIGOTH deliver the real-deal old-school goods with power and swagger to spare" - Revolver Magazine

"It's fresh, invigorating and hell, even inspiring!" - Metal Temple

"If Magic: The Gathering had a soundtrack, this would be it." - SLUG Magazine

Salt Lake City Utah's Visigoth released their debut album The Revenant King today on Metal Blade Records. In conjunction with the release the band has partnered up with Bloody-Disgusting.com for an exclusive premiere of the video for the title track The Revenant King. Check out the stream of the Dave Brodksy directed clip at bloody-disgusting.com.

Visigoth talks about the process of shooting the video: "This video was made in true DIY fashion. Almost all of the props and costumes were provided by us and our friends, and the actors in the narrative portion of the video are actually all friends of ours (Jason Stock, who plays the Usurper, works at the Wasatch/Squatter's co-op brewery with our drummer Mikey and can be seen on the bottle label for Hop Rising, the Squatter's signature double IPA; Jason Tarpey, who plays the King, is not only a good friend of ours but is also the singer for Eternal Champion, one of my favourite current US heavy metal bands; and Paul Black, who plays the Advisor, is a good buddy of ours and is the vocalist of local Salt Lake City metal band Turned to Stone). The outdoor shots were filmed in Oakley, a small rural mountain town in Utah. It was frigid cold out when we shot the narrative portion - Jason T's chainmail was freezing onto his skin by the end of it! The band performance shots were filmed in the Wasatch Brewery warehouse with nothing more than a minimal lighting rig and a fog machine provided by our buddy Brock Grossl (who used to play in Salt Lake City's now-defunct speed metal maniacs Castleaxe). Of course, none of this could have been realized without the immense talents of filmographer David Brodsky his partner in crime Allison Woest, it ended up looking much better than any of us were expecting! Their skill behind the camera and Brodsky's keen eye for editing are what really brought the project together. Without further ado, we hope you enjoy our little swords & sorcery offering. Cheers!"

Visigoth plays heavy metal that hearkens back to the golden age of ironclad riffwork and powerful vocals. They pay tribute to the titans of steel that left their mark on the history of the genre, and their earth-shaking sound echoes with a deep reverence for their roots. Visigoth goes above and beyond mere imitation, making their own musical mark on the genre they lovingly embrace. In Visigoth's realm, there are no frills, no gimmicks; there is only heavy metal.

The band's brand of heavy metal fit perfectly within the ranks of Metal Blade Records, who brought the band on board to release their debut full-length album. After signing with the label,Visigoth recorded The Revenant King. The collection of heavy metal tracks was engineered, mixed, and produced by Andy Patterson at Boar's Next Studio in Salt Lake City. Alan Douches at West Westside handled mastering to offer a final product that truly represents the finest in true metal.

On The Revenant King Jake Rogers's powerful vocals lead the charge, and when combined with the twin guitar attack of Leeland Campana, Jamieson Palmer, and the rhythm section of bassist Matt Brotherton and drummer Mikey Tee, form an immensely potent traditional heavy metal attack that fans of the genre would be unwise to ignore!

IF THESE TREES COULD TALK's Re-issues of First Two Albums Available Today on Metal Blade Records

Both Albums Streaming Along With Exclusive Interview At Heavy Blog is Heavy

Akron, Ohio post-rock outfit IF THESE TREES COULD TALK was properly formed in 2005 and has grown tremendously since their humble origins in Zack Kelly's basement as an instrumental project in college. They released their first EP in 2006 and their first full-length, "Above the Earth, Below the Sky," in 2009. Both were released independently, with vinyl released via The Mylene Sheath. Those laid the groundwork for their breakout 2012 release, "Red Forest."

Today Metal Blade releases re-issues of their first two albums "Above the Earth, Below the Sky" and "Red Forest," both of which and can be ordered HERE. As these albums are being released, the band is currently hard at work at what will be their Metal Blade debut later in 2015. The band spoke about working on the new album, the reissues and more with Heavy Blog is Heavy HERE. Both albums are also streaming exclusively courtesy of Heavy Blog is Heavy HERE.

"Red Forest" was independently released by IF THESE TREES COULD TALK in March of 2012 (Science of Silence pressed the vinyl). The nine song, 48-minute long album was self produced and engineered/mixed by Zack Kelly and Rick Fuller throughout much of 2011 at NEMeadow Studios in Bath, OH. Will Putney mastered the album and Charlie Wagers (The Fray, mewithoutYou, Caspian) of Three Bears Design was at the helm for art direction and design. This album was followed by a three-week sold out European tour in 2012, as well as a flurry of licensing music for games and film. Music from the band's catalog has been heard in Sony PS3 titles, and on NBC, MTV, VH1, the NFL, in videos for Vans, and for projects on the Sundance Film Festival. "Red Forest" quietly became a smashing success. Cumulatively, the band has sold over 20,000 copies, with 3,000 on vinyl alone across all of their albums.

As 2014 progressed, IF THESE TREES COULD TALK began work on their third full-length album. It was around that time that the band was approached by Metal Blade Records and signed with the label. The band continues with an independent and entirely self-motivated approach to their music as they prepare to release their Metal Blade debut later this year.

IF THESE TREES COULD TALK line up:
Zack Kelly - Drums
Tom Fihe - Bass
Jeff Kalal - Guitar
Cody Kelly - Guitar
Michael Socrates - Guitar
