Minneapolis black & death metal duo INEXORUM announce, "Moonlit Navigation", to be released on June 26, 2020, on all formats, via Gilead Media. Originally founded as a solo outlet by Carl Skildum (Threadbare, Antiverse, Obsequiae live lineup), INEXORUM is joined by Matthew Kirkwold (RIAA certified producer, also of Antiverse and Obsequiae live lineup) and serves as an outlet for Skildum's personal compositions that felt connected through similar energies and inspirations all their own.

"Moonlit Navigation" follows the critically acclaimed 2018 full-length release, "Lore Of The Lakes", and shows the duo documenting triumphs that travel upon a path paved with dense, melodic riffs and pummeling rhythm. Skildum's powerful vocals, melodic compositions, and intense lyrics coupled with Kirkwold's masterful production prove to be a combination of considerable force.

"My hope is that if anyone were to take anything out of the lyrics it is a recognition of their own strength and ability to persist despite whatever external or internal resistance they may be facing", comments Skildum.

Today, INEXORUM have released the title track to "Moonlit Navigation" in the form of a music video. The moonlit and stunning new video features footage captured by Minnesota photographer, Samuel Thomas Claeys.

About the video and song, Skildum comments: "I grew up in northern Minnesota, in a small town on a lake surrounded by woods. Exploring the woods around my home was one of my favorite things to do, especially at night. There was nothing like the feeling of seeing the moon and stars over the trees (and sometimes spectacular aurora light shows as well). Later I moved to the Twin Cities and that sort of experience faded from my life for a time. As an adult, I pay a lot more attention when I get the opportunity to have those quiet moments in nature." Skildum continues, "This song is about recapturing that feeling of awe and silence. When I wrote it I was thinking how helpful it is for my state of mind when I get to step out of the day-to-day and appreciate natural wonders that have been here before me and will persist long after all of my personal worries are gone."
