The recording sessions for the new album of the heavy metal band Exlibris are in progress. The release of "Aftereal", as the album will be called, is planned for late Autumn. The band are currently recording the guitar parts. The drum and, partly, keyboard tracks have already been recorded. The recording sessions should be finished by mid September. At THIS link, you can check out some photos from the studio.

The title "Aftereal" reflects the album's atmosphere and lyrics, and there was complete agreement in the band about that choice. The keyboard player Piotr Sikora comments, "Just like it was with 'Humagination', there's a certain leitmotif in the lyrics, which refers to the album's title. They describe realities other than our own - from nightmares, through some kind of fantasy, to the so-called netherworld."

The album is being recorded at ZED studio. The vocal parts will be recorded at HZ Studio, where the previous Exlibris album "Humagination" was recorded. The album's mix and mastering will be handled by Tomek Zalewski. The band's previous album was released last Autumn and it was a big success. It featured melodic heavy metal music on the international level and it was the band's second release.

More details to be revealed soon.
