"Herzlaut" is definitely the heart work of the Drunken Swallows!

After 11 years of band history, various albums and singles, some studio stops and the sudden standstill due to the Corona pandemic, it was time for a new chapter of the punk rockers from Germany's far north.

"We used the downtime to build our own studio and paved the way for our first, own album production. A wild time, with ups and downs, but also ideal to create ideas and content for new material from exactly these times."

The song selection is in classic Drunken Swallows style. Fast, hard guitar riffs, but also soft tones, virtually something for everyone again. What is special about it and also new is that Drunken Swallows are solely responsible for everything on this album, because there was no external producer, who was always good in the past, but of course also added his touch.

"We wanted to produce ourselves and we succeeded. "Herzlaut" is the title track to the album of the same name and this song was created and grew over the entire period, from the first construction work of the studio, to the final polish of the album. Give it all you've got, don't give up and always open your heart and turn it up full blast. It was this attitude that made us go this way and has been with us since the beginning of this era."

As before, the guys have things in the pipeline that make every punk rock heart beat faster.
