DIRTY SHIRT: Released the new record "Dirtylicious"
May 30, 2015
Scoring maximum points in several magazines, and never getting anything less than 8 out of 10,"Dirtylicious", called a unique and brilliant blend of styles by Spanish webzine La Estadea and considered as a candidate for the album of the summer by Rock Hard France, is sure to transform you into a fan of Dirty Shirt's particular brand of Balkan Folkcore Metal. A full archive of the reviews can be seen below.
The album was released on 26th April 2015 by Promusic Prod, and benefits of a great production: mastering by Alan Douches, mixing by Charles "Kallaghan" Massabo & Mihai Tivadar and recordings by Dan Secheli & Adrian Uritescu. The studio sessions were done with artists who are masters of traditional instruments, like violin, clarinet, accordion, cimbalom (dulcimer) and percussion.

The first single of the album is "Ciocârlia" (The Skylark), the instrumental opening song of "Dirtylicious". It is a virtuosic instrumental Romanian traditional song that spread to other East European countries:

Dirty Shirt has just finished touring Romania, and is getting ready for the summer performances on some of the biggest stages in the country. The group will open for Godsmack, then for Dream Theater and Skindred (I Am The Rocker Festival), and will play at Rockstadt Extreme Fest - one of the most important metal events in Romania.
In the meanwhile, the Romanian tour was a great success, as the band, who is now an official Washburn and Randall endorser, benefitted from an amazing stage production, with the support of The Wacken Foundation. Last year, Dirty Shirt was winner of the second place at the international final of Wacken Metal Battle 2014, and awarded as "Best Romanian Act Metal" at Maximum Rock Awards 2014 and "Best Romanian Rock Ambassador" at Metalhead Awards 2014
