ASHEN CROWN: Announce New Drummer!
November 3, 2018
Birmingham Death Metal collective Ashen Crown have revealed that their new drummer is Mike Ellis, previously of Whispering Vault.
Ashen Crown, formed in 2016, have been busy making a name for themselves as one of the most exciting bands to come out of the 'Home Of Metal' in recent years.
Ashen Crown stormed onto the scene late 2016 and in 2017 began their journey as they entered the Metal To The Masses competition in Wolverhampton, securing their slot on the New Blood stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2017. Since then the band have been seen supporting the likes of Memoriam, King Parrot, Broken Hope and Obituary....add this to their performances at Manor Fest, Amplified Festival, HRH Metal and Bloodstock Festival, it's no wonder that Ashen Crown have established a nationwide fan base and are being touted as a band to watch out for.
As well as their new drummer Ashen Crown have also signed a bookings and PR contract with FATangel Bookings & PR.
Ashen Crown have said:
"We are absolutely delighted to unveil Mike as our new drummer... from the moment we received his application, we had a great feeling about him. Not only is he massively talented, he also shares many of our influences and aspirations in regards to music... It didn`t take us very long at all to realise he was a great fit for Ashen Crown. This, coupled with us joining the FATangel family, is extremely exciting. We worked with Dan, Angel and Chris briefly as part of our Metal 2 the Masses Winners prize haul in 2017... it goes without saying that we are over the moon to be teaming up with them once again."
Ashen Crown are currently working on their debut EP as well as having several gigs confirmed already for the end of the year and beginning of 2019.
Upcoming Gigs:
01/12 - The Arches, Coventry
22/12 - Fuel, Cardiff
23/03 - Hammerfest, Prestatyn
