AIRBORN

Airborn formed in 1995 and soon they became a well-known combo in the italian heavy metal scene.
In 1998 the first demo recordingBorn to flygot great fancy from both italian and foreign press.

On the wave of success the band undertook a collaboration with the germantop class producer Piet Sielck (Iron Savior,Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Uriah Heep, Saxon) that led to another important step on the way to popularity and to a big success in Europe and Japan: the release of the debut albumAgainst the Worldin 2001 by Remedy Records of Hamburg.

In summer 2002 Airborn started recording their second studio album,D-Generation, for Remedy Records, with the constant support of Piet Sielck as supervisor and co-producer.
That second creative effort was eventually distributed in Italy byFrontiers Records (Journey, Primal Fear, Toto)and the critics drew out enthusiastic reviews.In 2005 Airborn partially changed their line up: a new bass player and a new drummer took over.

It took a long lasting production to see the third studio album finally finished: completely self-produced (ARP Music) and out in February 2009,Legend of Madogmarked the passage to a more aggressive sound on one hand, while catched inspiration from the traditional Heavy Metal roots of Judas Priest and Megadeth on the other.
During that production the band also took part in two acclaimed tribute albums promoted by Remedy Records:Eagleution, a Tribute To SaxonandThe Revivalry, a Tribute To Running Wild.

Since2010 Airborn have been dealing with many international bands and artists such asPiet Sielck (GER),Iron Savior (GER),Freedom Call (GER),Cannibal Corpse (USA)andKorpiklaani (FIN).

Presently Airborn are working on their 4th studio album,Dark Future Rising, which will be released on February 28, 2014.
