Corey: Well we went from not anyone knowing about us to a lot of people knowing about us because we had a record out that people could get, touring and everything had been getting a lot better as far as being taken care of. Things like that. Also the shows have been getting better with a lot more people getting into the band so it's a lot more fun.
Corey: Well, the shows we did with It Dies Today were our headlining tour so they were opening for us. All the shows in the UK were amazing for us!
Matt: We had 20 sold out dates in large venues and everyone knew who we were and they were there for us. That was awesome!
I hear some of the shows in the UK are almost sold out for next year [2006]?
Matt: Yeah they are like 50 percent sold out and the shows are 4 months away so I guess they will get sold out.
Matt: Everywhere!
Corey: Australia. Everywhere, man! Russia if we could.
Matt: Europe, there are places in Eastern Europe we would love to play. Czech Replublic would be cool.
Corey: Everywhere that Manowar goes! (Laughs)
Matt: Well, that's what we always wanted. I mean, it was just a matter of when not a matter of if, we always had our hearts and brains on exactly what we wanted. I mean we still want to be the biggest band in the world and we are ready to work for that, and we are prepared to take it higher and higher.
Corey: Definatly playing in the UK. That's always been a highlight, it has always been an awesome place for us. The Download Festival was awesome.
Matt: Starting out has been awesome for us. We have been lucky to have had the opportunity to tour with bands we looked up to and listened to back when we were younger. We got to meet a lot of cool people and do a lot of great shows.
Corey: A shower and that big bed, my girlfriend and my mom's cooking.
Corey: Clothes, DVDs, video games...
Matt: My Blackberry. It is the most essential thing. I access my email and the internet.
Corey: Actually the first time we went there it was amazing. Then we did some festivals, then we came back a short time later and just exploded there.
Matt: Yeah, it is really amazing there. It's the best market we have right now and we look forward to going back all the time.
Corey: It just gets bigger and bigger over there and everytime we go back it just seems to get bigger and better.
Corey: The Metal Hammer Awards was a good experiance. It was good to see the difference with different awards. It was cool to play there.
Matt: The Kerrang Awards was another we got to play at. That was way different.
Matt: Well, the production was a lot bigger. There was much more of a drinking thing going on at the Kerrang Awards.
Did you meet anyone famous there?
Matt: We met Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters). Grohl came up to me and said he just got our album and he loves it. Yeah, that was really amazing!
Corey: Oh yeah, we got to meet Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden). That was pretty amazing!
Matt: Very nice really, a really nice guy.
Matt: Mettalica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Testament, Pantera.
Corey: I like the old school 80's. The bands that started it all!
Matt: Get the fuck to a Trivium show, bitch!
Corey: If you haven't heard us, check out our website (www.trivium.org). We will be back around in Febuary so you have a few times to catch us and if not just go on the internet and look for something. (Laughs)
