Brad Marr (Massive) interview
Your new album ''Destination Somewhere'' came out, how excited are you?

We finished 7 months ago but as it got closer I got very nervous but I'm glad it's out now.

What can fans expect from the album?

Our first album came out 3 years ago, so we've had 3 years of learning and being mature so I think it's reflected in the album process.

How is this album different from your previous releases?

It's a lot better, we've learned a lot from touring for 3 years with each other. We've changed a lot in our lives for the better. Spending so much time in a van has made us tighter which is a great thing for us.

What are your favourite songs from ''Destination Somewhere''?

I like the songs like they were my  children! The title track is what I relate to the most, it's what MASSIVE are about.

You've already released ''Made Of Stone'' and ''One For The Road'', do you think you've had a good response to them?

Yeah! We didn't plan on what we was going to release, the response has been really great and had a lot of fan messages of gratitude.

If people have never listened to MASSIVE before, how would you describe yourselves?

We're 4 drunken idiots from OZ who like to party and create chaos!

As a vocalist and guitarist, who are your inspirations?

I love LED ZEPPELIN, GUNS N ROSES and so many more. From MOTORHEAD to CRUE. I'm 100% the 80's guy of the band. Everyone in the band has a separate influence.

What bands got you into rock music?

GUNS N ROSES: Appetite for destruction, then I got really into punk around that time so it kinda all just came from that album.

What are MASSIVE's plans for 2016?

Well our album came out today, we have a launch show coming up and we'll be doing a big Europe tour in September.

Do you think this will be the biggest year yet for the band?

I do! I'm hoping the next few years are for the band to really take off, the band has nothing to loose.
