Despite my continuous threats towards various Metal Temple editors, I keep getting promos from Ferret Music for review. It is just because I still haven't found out who is behind all the promo distribution! Pray to God I won't find you or else just beg for mercy! Anyway, after seeing the band's name and the track titles, I needed 30 minutes to stop laughing and 30 minutes more to calm down and get ready to face what this CD contained.

SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY come from Michigan. They started this thing for fun and then decided to take it seriously. It seems the band didn't want people to know some basic stuff for them because I didn't find a bio note neither in their official homepage, nor in their Myspace page. So I just have to guess that this is their debut album. The only thing I found out is that they have toured with JOB FOR A COWBOY and THE ACACIA STRAIN.

Although I was prepared to listen to one crappier album from a Screamo/Melodic Hardcore band, SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY surely managed to surprise me! Parasite is a pretty good Grindcore album with lots of exciting moments, that you just feel you want to bang your head until it falls on the ground! I guess the members are at a pretty young age and if they keep trying and playing as they do now, they are going to produce much better things at the near future! The album is followed by a more than good production, which is surely a plus for the overall result. Even though I didn't expect to say something like this, there were times I admitted that Parasite is better than some shitty Grindcore releases the market is flooded with.
Fox, who I expected to be a bit more melodic and gayish to say the truth, really amazed me with his screaming! This guy must have left his lungs somewhere! The rhythm section is pretty good, as it should be of course for this kind of music, and the riffs have their common times of course, but there are times that they have some pretty interesting ideas! I even noticed some slight DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN parts!

If you need some more than decent Grindcore compositions to accompany your sick appetite for some brutality, SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY can be a great choice in my opinion. Fourteen tracks, 18:51 duration, and a band that is one of the most insane Grindcore bands ever! My suggestion, check them out!
