The critically acclaimedNo Coast, an album that was recently deemed "a blueprint for the elder statespersons of emo returning to the fold" byNPR All Songs Considered, is out now and contains 12 of the most technically and lyrically creative songs ever penned by the Champaign-Urbana, IL- based quartet. Featuring a rousing collection of textures, as well as the combined signature vocals provided by guitaristsBob NannaandChris Broach, the album presents itself as the fitting follow up to the band's career defining, 1998 indie-rock classicFrame & Canvas. Braid is currently making Midwest and east coast appearances in support ofNo Coast. Performing tonight, Friday, July 11, in St. Louis, MO at Fubar, Braid will continue its tour with two album release shows in Chicago, IL on Sunday, July 20 at Township and will hit additional markets such as Boston, MA on Thursday, July 24, Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, July 26 and finish its tour with a performance in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, July 27.
