It has been widely known, since the last three decades, that a Manowar is more than just a battleship of the early ages of the human wars. It has been broadly spread that the American bred MANOWAR is a high ranking franchise, or even a foundation, more than the ordinary musical group honed by the arts and grits of Heavy Metal, a thriving empire similar to the world's giants of the Metallic sound al'a IRON MAIDEN, BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST and METALLICA among others.

However, what I have always personally found different in MANOWAR, in contrast to the other distinguished acts mentioned, was their utter conviction and bound principles towards the essence of Metal music as a mere religion, a path in life to follow other than a passing trend. Throughout their songs overdosed with the strong admiration for Heavy Metal, the live hard ride free routine, freedom sex, true brotherhood among men as warriors and up towards whimsical tales from far beyond, there is that particular sense when you powerfully clench your fist with a feel as if you have the strength of ten thousand men. This is true might, an uplifting spiritual journey and in simple words, the essence of what MANOWAR is.

The larger sum of the world, millions of fans, has already felt the iron fist of the American group, consisting of the legendary leader, bass player and main songwriter, Joey DeMaio, passionate singer and high end shouter, Eric Adams, long running virtuoso shredding fret man, Karl Logan, and comeback skinman Donnie Hamzik. Various DVDs and Bootlegs were released into the internet, showing of one conquest after another by the Metal warriors. Sights of vast audiences, intense sounds and immense stages were shown on marvelous photographs and even paper clippings. Nonetheless, the MANOWAR fighting machine has never set foot in the shores of Israel. However, it was about to change, like an event bound to happen, a possible occurrence that might change the face of the Israeli Metal scene for years to come. Just recently, the horns were sounded, and various war cries were combined into a single loud blasting scream: "MANOWAR Is Coming To Israel". Thanks to the efforts and determination of the local Progstage Productions, this mighty event became possible.

Earlier in the year, MANOWAR celebrated yet another anniversary to one of their albums. Last time it was with the debut "Battle Hymn", yet this time around it was for one of their most successful ones to date, "Kings Of Metal", dating back to 1988. The campaign started with the band gathering in the studio to re-record every bit of that piece of Metal history, ending up with an astounding double album presenting various versions to the old songs and a few extras. The album also featured a slight altered cover art presenting other world's nation including with pride the flag of Israel. And of course, as expected, it continued with a massive world tour schedule to let the Metalheads' celebrate and cheer along with the pumped up gods of Metal and the massive followers of the band in Israel will benefit from every bit.

So the main question is, will you take on this journey and join the American legend into a battle to be fought in 21.5.2014, Hanger 11, Tel Aviv? Will you cross your swords and raise your beer glasses high for the sounds of "Kings Of Metal", "Hail And Kill", "Thy Kingdom Come" and "Wheels Of Fire"? Will you be the ones to cry your guts out to the thundering sounds of steel and heavy distortion as it rips your ears? I guess that the answer to these questions, and I assure you that many more can be asked, depends on you purchasing yourself the chance of a lifetime, to see a legend in form, raising the flag for Heavy Metal, the true form of music. It is a do or die, don't think twice, a must for every breathing Metalhead. It is MANOWAR time.
