Portuguese metallers Shadowsphere will enter Wrecords Studio on June 5th to begin the recordings of a new EP, which will include two new songs and three cover versions and is set for release in September. The new EP will be produced by Wilson Silva (More Than A Thousand), who has worked with the band on the recordings of Dark Tranquility's "Focus Shift" cover version for the tribute album entitled "The Final Resistance", out now via Suspiria Records.

Meanwhile, the band will open up for Unearth on July 9th at Republica da Musica in Lisbon, Portugal.

Shadowsphere's last album "Inferno" was recorded and produced by Tiago Canadas at Poison Apple Studios and mastered by Jim Fogarty (Shadows Fall, Devil Wears Prada, Killswitch Engage) at Adam D.'s Zing Studios and was issued by Sphere Music Media in June, 2012.
