AEON's latest album 'Aeons Black' to be released on vinyl the 18th/21st of January!
Metal Blade will release a vinyl version of the latest album of Swedish Satanic Death Metallers AEON on January 18th/21st! Aeons Black will be released on 180g black vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, limited to a total of 500 copies. The CD-version of the album is out since last November.

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER to release vinyl version of classic album 'Nocturnal' on January, 18th/21st!
Detroit Death Metallers THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER will release a vinyl version of their classic album Nocturnal on January, 18th/21st via Metal Blade Records.

The LP will be released in blue/black marbled vinyl. It will feature a regular LP jacket and printed inner sleeves, limited to a total of 500 copies.

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER will join CANNIBAL CORPSE and DEVILDRIVER on their co-headlining tour, which kicks off in Oulu, Finland on February 9, 2013.

Also joining the tour will be WINDS OF PLAGUE. CANNIBAL CORPSE will be co-headlining with DEVILDRIVER with CANNIBAL CORPSE finishing all mainland European shows while DEVILDRIVER will finish the UK dates. Catch them all here:

Germany's most crushing extreme metal act NEAERA will release their new album Ours Is The Storm on March, 1st/4th via Metal Blade Records in Europe.

Comments the band: "We are very proud of this record and the hard work we put into making it. We hope that you will be as excited about it as we are. Once again, we trusted our good friend Alexander Dietz of Chemical Burn studio with the production as well as the mixing process. The mastering was handled by Tue Madsen at Antfarm studio. This record is one of the most open sounding and versatile we have done so far. We want to challenge ourselves and give you guys something new everytime we step up to the plate. Greek symphonic metallers NIGHTFALL have released the second single of their upcoming new album Cassiopeia!

NIGHTFALL comments on the song as follows: "The wheel of human race is moving towards by instinct. Slowly like a ferocious heavy tank roaring in muddy terrain and bravely like an astronaut in his capsule traveling to no man land. The creation of new lanes to earthly havens for the countless of restless souls to follow enormously is a fascinating old story. The Colonization is an unstoppable process that soon will reach extraterrestrial lands. A new Culture is imperative for smooth transition to the new era."

NIGHTFALL recorded the album in four different places, something the band is quite familiar with. Vocals and keys were recorded in Greece (Soundflakes studios & Cyberia) while the drums got hammered down in Germany in the Soundlodge studios. Guitars and bass were recorded in the U.S. in Nashville, Tennessee in the Boomcave studios.

More than on the previous album Astron Black & The Thirty Tyrants, in Cassiopeia the spirit of old school Heavy Metal larks in almost every riff, with Mercyful Fate's and King Diamond's guitar style having its top notch, always the NIGHTFALL way.

Unlike Astron Black, there are more fast tempos as well as grindy ones bringing memories back from the mid 90's times of now cult release Athenian Echoes! The vocals remain very, very heavy and thanks to Soundflakes amazing gear and Jörg Uken's super mixing skills fit great with the melodic leads, moreover creating a solid sound wall where vocalist Efthimis comfortably sits on and spreading his inner daemons out to the world!

Comments SHAI HULUD's Matt Fox: "The opportunity to tour Europe is not something we will ever take for granted. Before our first trip in 1999, the idea of touring another country was something only "real" bands did. We were kids, fanboys ripping off our favorite bands. All we ever wanted to do was try to make someone else feel something resembling what we felt when listening to the bands who inspired us. We never thought our name or music would get out of South Florida. Somehow it made it to Europe, and we graciously followed. Since 1999 we have now been to Europe countless times, having played some our most memorable, emotional, and altogether unbelievable shows there, across many different countries. Where we once had what some refer to as "fans," we now have friends, some so close they are practically family. We cherish the relationships we have made in Europe: personal, musical, lyrical, and in most cases all of the above.

In 2013 we are returning to Europe with Propagandhi, one of our all time favorite bands. This will be yet another extremely special tour we are fortunate enough to share with our European family. Young and not as young, faces new and familiar, we're grateful to make new memories and rage with everyone soon!"

About Reach Beyond the Sun:
Reach Beyond the Sun, the fourth entry in SHAI HULUD's storied catalog, will see its release in February of 2013. The album was produced by current New Found Glory guitarist, Chad Gilbert, and notably, vocalist on Hulud's debut LP Hearts Once Nourished With Hope And Compassion. In addition to producing, Gilbert also returned to sing on the album - his first offering of recorded vocals with the band in over a decade. Not unlike SHAI HULUD's previous releases, Reach Beyond the Sun was born of several years of toiling before ever entering a studio. The band's previous effort, Misanthropy Pure, a polished, metallic and frenzied piece of masterwork, is contrasted by the much more visceral, instinctively compositional songs found on Reach Beyond the Sun, an embracement of the raw Hardcore/Punk elements that sit at the cornerstone of the band's influences. Longtime bass player Mad Matt Fletcher asserts, "Anyone who really knows the band will agree this album is our definitive sound, encompassing all of our different influences and styles." He conclusively reiterates, "Yep, this sounds like Shai Hulud."
