Video footage of powerhouse vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) belting out acoustic versions of two heavy metal/hard rock classics that were originally sung by Ronnie James Dio - "Children Of The Sea" by BLACK SABBATH and "Man On The Silver Mountain" by RAINBOW - on Saturday, May 15 at Akron, Ohio's Tap House can be viewed below. Owens performed as half of an acoustic duo with former U.S. METAL bandmate Scott Jones playing guitar. The set was recorded for future release, either as a CD or as bonus tracks on an album, according to D.X. Ferris of the Cleveland Scene.
