It wasn't my first time though, it felt like it was.
As I said in my promo - news report earlier about the band, they weren't disappointing, and I even had to prove my point.
Those 4 USSR children who been raised in Israel, this kind of environment created rough skinned men who want to prove a point about a life in this kind of society, and not just by telling and explaining on the stage, but to scream on top of their lungs. It all comes in lyrics through tunes and eventually, live in performance.
It is very high quality place, nothing less was expected. After all, those who don't know, Habima Hall is one of the biggest culture halls in Israel. It's the kind of place that people gather around to see opera and theater plays, kind of place that people come in with suits and pretty dresses. And here we are, at hard rock and roll concert.
They play hardcore - old school rock & roll, they are not like all the hardcore bands you'll see today, they stand up for their punchy, coarse MOTORHEAD like rock & roll sound, but with their own touch of modern voice tuned by Yura.
That's a very cool combination of new and old school, with a modern and dusty sound, that kind of fusion gives you the full energy that tells you the story of people who struggle to survive in the modern capitalist world.
The performance itself gives you the whole picture, the white garments, upon loud and dirty music is the definition of WHITENOISE.
ALL IN FADED DAYS was the opening act, a 5 band member, new Hardcore band. I have to say, they're not bad at all, though. But not outstanding compared to the other bands in the Hardcore genre. Although it was their first time on the stage, I'll have to give them a credit. But they have to be more impressive in this sea of Hardcore Metal, and they have to be a little bit less obvious.
The fact that they were very interactive with the crowd could not be unseen, the lead singer Maor Elmakayes just jumped to the mosh pit with the audience. The looks, the gestures, the talking, made the show happen inside the crowd and not on the stage. It looked like they glued the crowd floor to the stage.
The special interaction with Yura, the WHITENOISE lead singer, made an interesting dialog between these two guys. It seems like they are shouting at each other.
