Azaghal, Funerus and more at Teatro Odisseia (2014)
Teatro Odisseia (Rio De Janeiro, Brazil)
Azaghal, Funerus, Coldblood, Nervochaos, Vociferatus
The first one to come to the stage was the quintet VOCIFERATUS, from Rio de Janeiro, and it was a pity that a little public saw their show.

3. Warpath
4. Mortenkult
5. Amenti
After a little time of waiting, NERVOCHAOS came to the stage and made an excellent show.
With a line up stabilized for many years, Guiller (vocal and guitars), Quinho (guitars), Felipe (bass) and Edu (drums) were at their best form, and made a killer performance, with a very good attitude on stage, showing that the experience is extreme important. The band focuses their energy and efforts on Death Metal in a more traditional trend, and was releasing its new album, "The Art of Vengeance". But seeing the quartet playing alive and unleashing classics as "Total Satan" and "To the Death!" is an experience of a Metal lifetime. And the audience (still in a low number) hailed them effusively. And let's speak the truth: they deserve it a lot!
Setlist:
1. The Harvest
2. To The Death
3. Total Satan
4. From Below And Not Above
5. Mighty Justice
6. Mind Under Siege
7. Dark Chaotic Destruction
8. Pazuzu is Here
9. Pure Hemp
An ancient band from Rio de Janeiro, COLDBLOOD is a quartet that makes what we can call Floridian Death Metal with Black Metal influences, an evolution that is ongoing by now. Playing songs from their most recent album, "Chronology of Satanic Events", the band showed a great musical evolution. Their attitude on stage is extremely fine, and we could see that Arawnn is a fine vocalist and guitar player, and Mkult is a powerhouse on the drums (very good playing and with a fine technique), along with live members Raphael Gabrio on bass guitar and André Neil on guitars. Lots of energy and heavy music, and a hearing on "Cross Inversion" and "Avoid Jehovah" shows that this evolution will give excellent fruits soon.
Setlist:
1. Chronology Of Satanic Events
2. Anthropomorphic Idolatry
3. Cross Inversion
4. Metastasis (Christ)
5. Kristophobia
6. Hell Transcendental
7. Avoid Jehovah
8. Anti Crusade (To Destroy The Holy Graal)
Then, after some preparations took place, the US band FUNERUS came to the stage, and made a very good show.
Setlist:
1. Sound of Oil
2. Reduced to Sludge
3. Suffering Life
4. The Comfort in Depression
5. Bedpan Commando
6. Web of Deceit
7. E. Histolytica

Closing the festival, then came the hour for seeing the Metal grasp from Finnish trio AZAGHAL. And they answered all expectations, no doubts about this!
Besides there was little communication between the band and the public, their attitude on stage was extremely fine, especially JL Nokturnal (he bangs his head a lot and doesn't stand on the same place for many time), and Lima (who really is a great drummer. He never loss the tempo notion, and have a very fine technique!). And harsh and aggressive songs like "Agios O Baphomet", "Pohjoisen Valkoinen Kuolema", "Quetzalcoatl", and "Juudas" were the proof of a band that still have a lot to say and to grow in terms of Metal.
1. Agios O Baphomet

A very fine event, and as always plenty of thanks to Teatro Odisséia for hosting such an event in the Brazilian Metal scene and of course hard to forget Cronos Entertainment for setting up a profound lineup.
