I: Hi all at Metal Temple… Eversin was born in late 2008 from the ashes of a band called Fvoco Fatvo. Our first album "Divina Distopia" (2010) was something of different from what we play today. It was more experimental and was a bit "weird" for a Thrash metal band. In 2012 was time for "Tears on the Face of God" to bring us back to our Thrash roots, in fact it is a very thrashy album with some epic chorus. Now it's time to celebrate "Trinity: the Annihilation", our most violent and best album ever.
G: We played a lot in 2014, with Destruction, Carcass, with Megadeth at Rock Off Turkey…We are back in Istanbul to play at the second edition of Rock Off with Korn, Gojira, Annihilator and more. Now it's time to recharge our batteries and thinking to compose some new music. Anyway, in 2016 we will be on stage again.
G: Well, our writing process is more or less the same but this time we had a new factor to handle: the pressure. We had very few time write the songs for the new record, our label had given us a dealine to respect, so we were really under pressure. I must admit the pressure pushed us to give our best.
I: I write all lyrics and I've always found inspiration in what surrounds me and in historical events of the past. "Tears on the Face of God" talked about WW2 and the main characters of that time, but for the new record I've tried to talk about something of different. "Trinity" is the name of the first nuclear test, and I was really interested to talk about the idea of destruction and self-destruction that stands behind the creation of a nuclear weapon.
I: The album was mastered in Australia by Stu Marshall. Was recorded in Italy in three different studios.
G: Not much, but as I told you before we were forced to respect the deadline and sometimes recordings session may be really stressing…
I: We don't like new bands, we don't care about tributes to the past and sad revivals. New band play all the same shit, they sound all the same and they have not personality. They hide the lack of ideas with the bullshit of the tribute to the past. Fucking bullshit. We love older bands from 90's, they were true, they played their own music. Slayer, Testament, Sepultura, Annihilator, Grip. Inc, Forbidden, Megadeth, Exodus…
G: We 'll start writing new music at the end of the year, and in 2016 we will be ready to hit the stage again with "Trinity: the Annihilation". There is gonna be a new Eversin album, probably at the end of 2017…
I: We would like to share our music with Greek fans, and we hope to play in your country very soon. Greek audience is awesome, and we want to meet all of you under our stage. We are looking for it… Hey man, let us know about some Greek Festival!!!
I: Thanks to you bro. All the best.
G: Bye, bye…
