The intro track "Are you Ready For Rock?" was ok, but it really didn't "thrill" me. I'd have to had a few more beers this morning to get this rock rolling. I really liked the classical piano in "Requiem For a Screamer" though, so I put the brewskies back in the fridge. I like when the guitar dives at 3:00. That was good for this song. All in all pretty solid(the "yeah" at the end really got me though), not the best but it will have to do.
After consulting my local Guns N Roses expert she confirmed that this band does in fact sound a lot like Guns N Roses. Take that information and use it as you will. Put on The Trigger isn't really anything new though in my opinion, they would be better off experimenting with ambient noise and techno stuff if they really want to kick it to the next level. I listened to track four I still burn, which had a pretty decent intro, nice medieval guitar riff by Nozomu Wakai, some of this stuff seems black metal influenced...like the guitar riffs in this song have a really melodic metal sound in my opinion. The next track number six Symphony of Despair I don't think they should have kept using the medieval sounds; it's getting a little worn out. Believe was next, it had some really positive lyrics which I can appreciate as an adult, even though I could see youngsters thinking this was lame! The End of Sorrow was a nice melodic love ballad which could be better, for one, don't belt out screeches in the beginning of your songs! It's cheesy as heck!
The final track on the album We Fight To Win I like the intro more, The vocals by Luri Sanson are really good on this one! As for the album art I feel as though it's a little dark aesthetically for the overall sound but it works
