Some musicians are really workaholics, because they never stop, are always creating new works and projects to explore different musical expressions. One of them is Jan Åkesson, known for his works with STONELAKE, S.A.Y., RAVAGE, and others, seems to be continuously working and writing new music. Now, he aligns himself with Tezzy Persson for the creation of the project INFINITE & DIVINE, and they're releasing "Silver Lining", the first album of the collaboration.

On the album's songs, one can have the clear idea that the duet created a modern and heavy form of Melodic Heavy Metal/Hard Rock with clear elements of AOR, with some references that link their music to the 80's, but with an actual outfit. So it sounds alive, grandiose, filled with charming melodies and catchy choruses, and a massive melodic energy. These words aren't enough to express the melodic beauty of "Silver Lining", so dig into it yourself and discover. The production of the album conceived a clean and defined sonority, with emphasis on the melodic side of their music, but keeping some heavier moments. It means that everything was done with care and with very good instrumental tunes.

The band's music is extremely tasteful, and the listeners will enjoy very good moments with songs as "I Feel Alive" (a modern feeling similar to what can be found on AMARANTHE's works, but with precious melodies and great vocals), the 80's hooking melodies of "Infinite & Divine" and "Not Too Late", the melodic Hard Rock appeal shown on "Wasteland" and "We Are One", the tender and precious harmonies of "You and I" and "While You're Looking for Love" (this one has the same appeal of heavier songs of DEF LEPPARD's "Hysteria") are the ones to become the favorite tracks for the fans. But the entire album is great, so enjoy it.
