11:11
Neocaesar
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: NEOCAESAR; signed via Xtreem Music, hailing from the Netherlands - performing Death Metal, on their debut album entitled: "11:11" (released February 26th, 2017).
Since formation in 2013; the quintet in question have this album in their entire discography to deliver: "11:11", incorporating a solid slab of intricately designed Death Metal distinctions - NEOCAESAR implement a hard-hitting arrangement of uniquely developed instrumentation and musicianship. Starting off with the static introduction of "Initium Novum"; which demonstrates an atmospherically menacing formula of profusely orchestrated aesthetics, until the robust "From Hell" takes over with savagely sinister maliciousness and progressively technical executions that embellishes a frantic substance of catchy grooviness that just gets the blood boiling for a relentlessly invigorating experience to come. Mike van Mastrigt on vocals provides deep, guttural growls that contributes fiercely hostile viciousness and raspy diligence - amalgamated with the groovy composing, I am enjoying myself a helluva lot so far.
Consisting of Bart van Wallenberg on guitars who showcases complex dexterity, consistently supplying an efficient amount of vehement riffs and seemingly diligent technicalities in which contrasts with a relentlessly hammering characteristic - "Victims Of Deception" distribute those intensely chugging components while juxtaposed with Michel Alderliefsten's battering bass attributions that are just phenomenally incredible. "Invocation Of The Watcher" is a blistering thrasher, rapidly constructing swifty manifestations that supply a grandiose amount of menacingly extreme hostility - powerhouse drummer Eric de Windt establishes a neck-breaking foundation of furiously thumping grit that is raw and quite simply splendid. "Sworn To Hate" was the most catchiest, with its fierce domination and proficiently organic aesthetics - that stampede with a ramming display of vigour and power.
"Valhalla Rising" continues the onslaught of plentiful speediness and aggressively pounding hooks that seemingly captivates me with a blazing storm of chugging devastation, this assault exercises with extremity in mind and is just all round an adequately crushing occurrence. "Prelude To Darkness" excels with punchline drum cymbals combined with fiercely mechanized riffs that rapidly fires with immense speed, and the vocalization pursues to engage with blood in the voice. "Angelic Carnage-Mix" has more of those hell-raising slams and coordination of salubrious grooves that chug with severity that motivates the body with an energizing sense of stimulation, an intensely bashing thrash of a track. "Sigillorum Satanas" spreads more carnage; starting off with a deadly acoustic segment, fused with drum delights until the unique addition of ambient pianist work comes in - an elegantly diverse song.
Overall concluding "11:11" with the final track "Blood Of The Nephillim"; I am compelled to say that this is how you do Death Metal, simple as that. With the variety being so expansive and exhilarating, you can rest assured that your fix will be guaranteed - masterful.
