Integrity - Howling

Metal and Rock are forms of music that become addictions to its fans. The more you hear and know, the more you want to know more and more. It has no end; it's what many music styles lack: passion. Passion is what moves ancient bands that still are here unleashing very good albums. Veterans as the North American band INTEGRITY are here to conquer, no doubt about that. Even active since 1988, destroying ears and spreading the gospels of nightmares and the occult. Now, they are back for one more round, because wild ones like them will never fall. Pay attention on "Howling, for the Nightmare Shall Consume", and you'll understand why these guys will never give up.

Don't try to elucidate what these sick guys are creating musically, because you will feel the influence of earlier nasty Hardcore music, along with some Thrash Metal and other styles influences on their music. But the most important of all: it is filled with a catchy energy, and that feeling that you all know, that is honesty. But even after 30, these madmen are as nasty as sick as on the 80s, destroying ears and necks with their aggressive and catchy form of Hardcore Metal music.

Be prepared for their assault!

Kevin Bernsten made the recording, and Brad Boatright mastered the album. The result is a sound quality that is really excellent, fitting on what they need, but being clear for our full understanding of what they are doing. But don't get the wrong idea: these guys are up to fuck your brains if you think they aren't aggressive. So, be prepared, because these preachers of madness and chaos are here to brutalize your souls with their musical gospel.

Their best preachings on "Howling, for the Nightmare Shall Consume" can be named as the furious and intense brutal Hardcore song called "Blood Sermon" (excellent guitars and great vocals, and even some slower parts can be heard), the fast moshpiting disgrace called "Hymn for the Children of the Black Flame" (fast tempos, a flux of raw energy and an excellent work from bass guitar and drums), the bitter weight shown on the slower parts of "I Am the Spell" (once more, excellent charming guitars riffs and very good solos), the introspective ones "Serpent of the Crossroads" (that is filled with very good nasty melodies) and "Reece Mews", the nightmare of traditional families called "Burning Beneath the Devils Cross", and the climatic and atmospheric "Howling, for the Nightmare Shall Consume". And by the way, the digital version has three bonus songs: "Viselle De Drac", "Entartete Kunst" and "Deathly Fighter" (a version for an old song from RANDY UCHIDA GROUP), all of them very good songs.

Their name says all: INTEGRITY is still here to teach your children about worshiping Satan and spreading non conformity to all!
