If you're a Metalhead, think of what kind of Metal you like to play in a band. Big Daddy will give you a tip:  if you're too troubled by the choices you can make, put your efforts in traditional Heavy Metal or Hard Rock, because the musical foundations are set so deep that you won't have great problems playing it. The easy way is the best always. However, it demands musical talent, and in this matter, a good teacher can be the North American quartet BLASTED TO STATIC, releasing their first album, "Blasted to Static." It's just that old and good North American mix between classic Heavy Metal with some hooking Hard Rock influences. Some of the band's members have experience, because they played in bands as DEATH DEALER, MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, RACER X, LEATHERWOLF, DOKKEN, BADLANDS, and UFO, so they can make something that is already heard countless times before sound new and fresh as it was the first time you hear such style. Yes, they are pretty good, and will get you as soon as you hear their songs for the first time!

The album's sound quality is done very well, by Stu Marshall (the band's guitarist), who produced, mixed and mastered the songs. He really got a very good result, with everything sounding clear, heavy and aggressive as it must be, and their music gained a very good load of energy due this sonority. Their best shots: the opening act song "Suicide King" (filled with excellent guitars and vocals in the same style of Rob Halford, having great chorus and some good rhythmic changes), the heavy pressure and melodic power of "The Hammer" with its great work from bass guitar and drums, the melodic esthetics heard on "Repossession of Nothing" (where the solo is done by Russ Parrish, from STEEL PANTHER and former FIGHT guitarist), the abusive strong guitars on "Dance Devil Dance" (this is what North American Metal School is about, dear nephews and nieces), the energy rush that flows from the excellent ones "Devils Preacher" and "Delivered from the Ashes", and the good and tender atmosphere that fills "Warbaby." Very good!!!!
