Technology is sometimes a helping hand for Metal bands. Big Daddy here believes that you all know that internet shortened all global distances, and what was a great trial on the past, since 10-15 years is a reality. Yes, today is possible for members of a band that live in different countries unite their efforts in recording something. So, it's not so difficult imagine how a band as TEMPLE BELOW could exist, since its members live on Greece and Chile. And their efforts created "The Dark Goddess", their new EP, showing what this quartet is up to. They play a dirty and raw form of Old School Death/Black Metal, remembering the style from bands as BLASPHEMY, BEHERIT and DARKTHRONE, or in other words, that brutal, sinister and funereal musical work, sometimes fast and other ones in a slow fashion, but always with personality and showing a good dose of brutal energy. Yes, they are good, indeed.

The sound quality is raw, but not as putrid as some bands from the past they seem to inspire their musical work. It's clean enough for us to understand what they are playing, but heavy and bitter as hell itself. The instrumental tunes could be done in a better way, but on their work, they fit in a good way. "May Worlds Bleed for Her Honour" that has a somber introduction, is a song where fast and slow tempos appear, creating a brutal and grasping atmosphere, with very good guitars and vocals (besides the tunes of the guitars could be better, because they seem hollow sometimes). And these same elements can be heard on "Mahavidya Cchinnamasta," where the feeling is really somber and putrid, with very good ritualistic vocals appearing sometimes. The brutal and aggressive dark ritual show on "Ave Trivia Ekati" is filled with a very good work from bass guitar and drums, being a bit more brutal than the preceding tracks, and showing some somber melodies on the guitar riffs. And "Boszorkányság; A fekete assozny árnyÈka" is a sinister song created with some effects from keyboards. These guys are good, just some adjusts on sound production, and they will be ready to conquest their space into extreme Metal scene.
