It seems to me that the Israel Metal scene is really growing. Until the times when ORPHANED LAND came to a commercial success, it's believed that Metal wouldn't have representatives on that country, marked for conflicts. But since then, tons of excellent bands are coming from the country, writing a new Metal gospel. It's pretty interesting that Metal bands from Israel bring some differences from their pairs throughout the world. And now, one more arrives: SINNERY, and these Thrash Metal maniacs are setting chaos on "A Feast of Fools", their new album.

Yes, it's Thrash Metal band, but as said above, there are some differences between their work and from some of the Thrash Metal bands we already know: they have a more melodic insight, even keeping an aggressive soul on their musical work. It's like we could fuse the dirty and raw aggressiveness from bands as NUCLEAR ASSAULT with the melodies presented on old works from METALLICA, and with some bits of raw power from bands as M.O.D., and a personal touch the makes "A Feast of Fools" tasteful.

The sound quality of the album is very good, indeed. It was conceived to make the band sounds aggressive and impacting, but with a level of sound clarity extremely high. Yes, you can understand clearly what they are playing, because the distorted sound you hear comes from the instrumental tunes, not from the recording quality.

To be honest, all the tracks are very good, indeed.

"Built to Kill" is truly violent and aggressive, having very good rhythmic changes and an excellent chorus (and a great technique show by bass guitar and drums as well), the excellent melodies and use of technical aggressiveness on "Showing Teeth" (with another good work from bass guitar), the great energy burst presented on "Mad Dog" (with some slow tempos that are great, with excellent vocals and guitars, from where hooking melodies arise), the harsh and brute "Black Widow" (another great exhibition from guitars under this strong and worked rhythmic basis), the introspective and depressive "Symphony of Sorrow" (it's a sad and dark ballad with a heavy and strong chorus, good vocals and great melodic solos appears on the song. But at the end of it, the song becomes aggressive), and the nasty "A Feast of Fools" (again, the guitars are hitting the target in great form).

It's just their first album (before it, just the Demo "Showing Teeth" was released by the band), so SINNERY can become greater and greater. And I really hope for it!<
