Razed To The Ground
Vision Of Disorder
This is a moment when you have to deal with a veteran band, and with a album done with all the care it really deserves. Yes, it's an explosion of aggressive Hardcore with modern Metalcore elements. And they came that came to catch you. Yes, VISION OF DISORDER is on the house, they want you, and they're distilling fury, and with "Razed To The Ground", their latest album, I believe they will.
Yes, their Harcore vein is truly alive and furious in this world, but with some Metalcore touches, giving them a melodic insight in many moments, as we hear during the times they use clean voices or more aggressive riffs. And as well, these melodies hook the fans even more to their musical work, turning it into an addiction. But the whole band is in great shape, with inspired songs, in their best form. And to be honest, they have a strong, bold and aggressive personality.
On "Razed To The Ground", the production was done by the hands of Chris "Zeuss" Harris (the same one who previously worked with HATEBREED, DEMON HUNTER, ROB ZOMBIE, and others). The result is an abrasive sound quality, making the songs sound heavy, aggressive and thunderous, but with the needed clearness, that same one we all need to understand their musical work.
Their work is truly honest and very good, and their efforts to built songs that fit on their musical ideas and on the band's inner features.
You can hear their best moments on the brutal and abrasive riffs on "Heart Of Darkness" (their Metalcore influences are clear here, due their technical insight and excellent guitars), the sinuous and hard beating attack called "Hours In Chaos" (what a great work on bass and drums, creating very good rhythmic changes), the oppressive instrumental work of "Razed To The Ground" (some groove is presented on their guitar riffs), the excellent melodies on "Cut My Teeth" (with some perfect moments with clean vocals, but without taking out their abrasive aggressiveness), the mastodonic heavy weight called "Nightcrawler", and the modern aggressiveness heard on the vocals on "Amurdica: a Culture of Violence".
They are really nasty, and will enter your life by force, if it is needed!
