I don't think all the world metal bands necessarily need to compose their songs in English. I think this is completely valid that challenge this "logic" and to bet on the metal in another language. LUCUMA'S is one band is an example of one of these cases. Argentine's brings something completely different from the usual proposal, with songs in their native language.
The band brings a progressive, very interesting approach to metal, with lots of the nuances of hard rock, with guitars positioned along the songs, bringing an interesting pace for the band. The album begins with "Omnicronía" which has an extremely sticky chorus and that works well in the initial context of the band's work. In "Capitulación", some taken more melodious guitars with a clean vocal and at the same time brings weight for the music and invested well in lower and raise the tone all the time in music, it seems that kicked in the best way this song.
The instrumental in "Mulciber" pleases me greatly lines guitars inserted into the song, with a more gloomy and more melancholy footprints. With "Demonio De Los Ojos De Piedra" we see a different feel. The band proves technically sound, but over the previous songs did not realize so many different sounds, and different bet little in increasing the songs with new elements. The album ends with "Nuevo Gris", which brings very well executed guitar riffs from the introduction, one of the busiest-sounding albums from the first and second songs allow this to work quiet well, but it tends to get a bit old as the album goes on.
But what makes me reflect on the band may be the rarest of bets on new elements in the songs, and rare exceptions during the execution of the album. That is where the singer makes the vocal lines that just become repetitive throughout the CD. After some time it all tends to sound the same. The impression is, at times, that we have been stuck listening to the same song over and over. Is still perhaps is missing a little bit of creativity and innovation, however, is remarkable the effort of the band to perform properly and technically-concise that makes the music somewhat work for them, although even the little mature in execution and creativity, which of course it becomes gradually and over time. <
