Metal is the most democratic form of music in the universe. We are divided by boundaries, political opinions and many other useless things/factors. But metal is the same around the Earth. Every single country has a scene and some metal bands. Maybe the only one without some metal trace is Cuba, but as soon as the dictator-shit of Fidel dies with him (and I truly hope that idiots with Che Guevara shirts go with him), metal will appear there too, there's no doubt about that. And it's a great pleasure to see a country like India, with many social problems, but with some good points, coming with a band like ZERO GRAVITY, coming with their first work, the album "Holocaust Awaits".

It's the most purest and abrasive thrash metal in the vein of SLAYER and SEPULTURA (in their "Arise"/"Chaos A.D." era), but with some fine and good elements from death metal (on the guttural grunts from their vocalist) and some very melodic elements (we can feel and hear them clearly on guitars). But besides thrash metal is a bit eroded, they have a strong and aggressive personality. Sometimes, we can really feel our teeth aching due their musical violence, but they do a pretty good work and have some catching melodies. Brutal, deeply aggressive and excellent grunts (done by a frontwoman, Katrika), perfect guitars (the riffs are brutally oppressive and technical, but the solos have very good melodies), and the rhythmic session is technical and truly heavy. Be careful of your eyes, for they can bleed and jump out of your face!

The sound quality is pretty good, with all instruments and vocals in their due places, with very good tunes, but it's truly heavy as hell, a massive thrashing attack with a furious weight!

The album has 8 very good songs ("Intro" is just a noisy introduction for the album), all of them perfect in the way they are, but the better songs are "Weapon's Edge" with its abrasive guitars in mid paced tempos, what makes the rhythmic session appears a lot; the excellent "Blasphemy" (a bit more melodic and with some modern elements, with great technique from bass guitar and drums, along with an excellent performance from the guitars on solos, and perfect vocals. One of my favorite songs from the album), "Holocaust Awaits" (introduced by very good accords done by bass guitars, followed by an abrasive attack from massive guitar riffs), and the mid tempo from "Pistol in My Hand" (with very fine vocals).

Ok, I know that it's their first album, that they still have a long way to go, but I loved the way they do their work on this album, and I truly believe on their musical potential, so...
