Who haven't heard about WHITESNAKE yet? If there is one, than he doesn't reading this review of course. The iconic Hard Rock band that formed by the legendry DEEP PURPLE ex-singer David Coverdale who leaded this name for the past 34 years (well yet with some breaks in the road).

So now the band releasing their seventh live album that follows the band's rare concert in 1984, the time that the band released "Slide It In". So I received the band's new live album that came out before the 1987's classic album that contain "Still Of The Night", my favorite WHITESNAKE song.

"Are you ready?", asking David Coverdale when Mell Galley starts the opening guitar of "Gambler", the first song in this show and the first song in the band's "new album" (well in 1984), "Slide It In".

The band does not stop and continues straight to next song. And if we are already in the atmosphere of "Slide It In", there comes the album's lead single "Guilty Of Love". In this one we can actually feel the chaos and the madness that the band release on stage.

The thing that's very special in this live album, is that the old recording managed to capture the 80's atmosphere right in the recording of this one. If I am closing my eyes, I can imagine to myself how Coverdale takes the microphone, moves his hair and of course maddening crowd.

After than comes "Love Ain't No Stranger", song that is not my taste but still the band stays impressive with her crazy performance. The band present this song as a song that the crowd may have heard in MTV, and it's the band's hit "Slow An' Easy". All the way from the "Lovehunter" comes "Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues" as a little surprise for my opinion.

The highlight of the show coming with the best song in this live-album, "Ready An' Willing". Even in a recording from the 80s, we can still hear the entire crowd screaming the words of the song and we can feel the energy that's coming from the band in this song.

In the bottom line, right in the age that going far away from the music of the 80s, WHITESNAKE surprise us again and releasing maybe their best live-album they ever did. The mix of the album is maybe not amazing for this age, but still the ability to make an old recording and to recover it, is impressive. WHITESNAKE are WHITESNAKE and they are killing in live shows, they got zero mistakes in their performance and they know how to do a show that takes no prisoners.

There is only thing that I can complain about. This recording is from 1984, so the band had a great show, good recording and still this live-album is on the desk for fucking 30 years? I am just saying that maybe it's way too soon.<
