IRON REAGAN is in the same vein from D.R.I. and old C.O.C., a side project having members from MUNICIPAL WASTE (Tony and Land Phil) and DARKEST HOUR (Ryan) and other bands, but here, you won't find elements from those bands. It's a furious and nasty Hardcore/Crossover. And "The Tyranny of Will" is a powerful punch of nasty music in our faces.

It's nothing really new at all, but it's good due the spontaneous way they do, with no compromise with anything that's not their musical shrapnel. And yes, it's hooking, done with good vocals, excellent riffs (and some good solos), and a pretty simple, but well worked and heavy rhythmic kitchen. Be prepared to have a heart attack.

The sound quality is good and dry, but trying to get some feeling from the golden age of North American Crossover (the middle of the 80's, especially between 1984 and 1988). But of course you can understand what they play, with good tunes for each instrument, making all the arrangements sound clear as they must. And the cover deserves a mention, due its simple and ironic vision of politics (I believe it's a joke aiming former U.S.A. president, George Bush, there).

Well, there are 25 short and abrasive songs on this album, all of them extremely good and, like we say here in Brazil, it's "25 five fucks without taking dick out", having their best songs on "Tyranny of Will", the powerful "Eyeball Gore", the ultra HC song "Close to Toast" (the guitars are insane here), the abrasive "In Greed We Trust" (great vocals, with strong chorus and harsh screams), the slower blow of "Broken Bottles" (another great work from guitars), and the stab called "Four More Years" (the longest song, with four minutes, a slow tempo song, abrasive and intense, with good work from bass and drums).

Fine work, indeed, from these five insane guys!
