Since MERCYFUL FATE, KING DIAMOND and ARTILLERY appeared and gained the world with their music, rare are the names of good bands coming from the country. But now, some Death Metal names are appearing there, and a very good band from there, arising with blood in the eyes is the trio of maniacs called SIX STRING SLAUGHTER, and after two EPs, now comes with their first album, "Born Unspoiled".

Their work is really very good, for it's an aggressive explosion of Death Metal, sometimes remind something from old Swedish scene, but as well these maniacs breath a new life on the style, trying to do things on their own way. So, besides it could sound at first like nothing new (and frankly speaking, it isn't new), we can feel a personal way of playing and doing music. And it makes things sound better to our ears.

Recorded and mixed at Six String Studios in Denmark, and mastered at Hertz Studio, in Poland, the sound quality is powerful. It's clear and heavy, but not trying to sound more modern. It sounds as good as nowadays band, but trying to rescue the way of sounding from the past. And this is another good point of the album.

Of course their work is pretty good, and songs like the ferocious "Born Unspoiled" (great tempo variations and drumming), the well worked and powerful "Gathering Dust" (some good melodies arise from the guitars, along with excellent vocals), the aggressive "I Am Not at War" (fine vocals and great backings), the fast and destroyer of ears called "Careless", and their version for BRUTAL TRUTH's "Birth of Ignorance".

Very good for some neighbors who don't know where they must stay!
