Verdict - The Meaning Of Isolation album cover

And from Germany, another fine name comes: VERDICT.

This album, "The Meaning of Isolation", is their fourth CD, but for all those who still don't know their work (like myself) would have a great and good surprise.

They do a mix between Thrash Metal and Death Metal (the more melodic ramification of it, mind you), so they sound brutal, fast, aggressive, but always good melodies arise from their songs (especially at guitar solos), astonishing us all. It sounds new and great!

A very polite and heavy sounding is what we all can feel and hear, all the instruments appearing clearly and sounding as an unity, but very aggressive. But to have Dan Swanö doing the mastering, it couldn't be different...

Their music is strong, heavy, aggressive and has a lot of technique, making all the album a big surprise, and even being excellent from the start to the end, we can say that the brutal "Manifest of Hate" (Thrash guitars and Death Metal energetic drumming), the melodic and aggressive "Killing Fantasies", the destructive "Layer of Lies" (what great guitar work!), "First to Fight" and "Nemesis of God".

If it's Thrash, Death or whatever you can call, it's Metal, and it's excellent.
