Black And Blood
Soul Remnants
And the slaughter begins, as the North American quintet SOUL REMNANTS returns with their new album, "Black and Blood".
Extreme, fast and brutal, here's no place for melodies or love songs. Here is the place for mutilations and extreme aggressive music, with vocals in a more harsh way (the use of low grunts is not the main way of vocals), insane and sick riffs, bass doing a god work, but the drums really are insane, doing a technical and heavy work.
Pete Rutcho is the main legist, or being more serious, the producer, and did the mixing and mastering too, making a very good work. The band's music is oppressive as it must be, but in a clean way that all instruments are understood with no hard efforts.
And be prepared, because tracks like the insane and brutal "Chopwork II", the more technical "Cauldron of Blood", the long and wonderful "Dead Black (Heart of Ice)" (hear some melodic guitars appearing, and with very good solos and technique. It's the album's better song), the more up-tempo "The Antifaith".
A fantastic album, so, get prepared for the massacre!
