Young Wisdom
Black Wizard

Things that I love that have come from Canada: most comedians, pouting, my husband, and BLACK WIZARD's "Young Wisdom" Unlike a recent band I reviewed that claimed to be psychedelic, I would proudly put BLACK WIZARD in the same category of awesome as THE MOODY BLUES and PINK FLOYD. I had never heard of this band before, and I see now that I was truly missing out. I'm not a drinker, but I do know after a hard day's work, this album and a beer would help unwind.
I can't honestly say I have one issue with this album, vocally or instrumentally. They are recorded nicely and layers are mixed well. And when the songs transition, they don't sound like a garbled 'garbage disposal' mess or a pure talent show of maniacal skills sets.
I am always going to visit Keith in Ontario, so maybe I will get lucky enough to see them live someday! Till then I will just put "Young Wisdom" on my 'constantly play' list because this album is one of the best I have heard in a long time.
